why thank you. cubist, eh? what an interesting association, can you tell me more about this relationship that you make? I am intrigued

Absolutely! :) It's the top eye that really pushes my thoughts towards cubism. In my opinion, it appears to be painted from a different perspective eventhough it exists on the same plane as the rest of the eyes. There are other eyes at slightly different angles, but none of them quite reach the perspective change that the top one does. That perspective difference is at the heart of cubism. Now you aren't using simple geometry as is most common with cubism, but I feel that the perspective manipulation is far more interesting and important to the style. So that's where that thought came from :D

this is a huge compliment. I love fractal  (skilled and composed) work and that you first thought it is that makes me very happy. It is just something that is chaotic but ordered :)

It didn't look very impressive at first, but then I noticed the details.

The. Sheer. Amount. Of. Glorious. DETAILS.

All in pure oil paint, too, wow.

Oh man that is crazy, so many things it could be like immature acorns dried up, to possibly eyes. In this case I feel one is only limited by their own imagination as to what it could represent; otherwise, well done, and worth that DD. :D

you see this is what I enjoy about making my artwork. it is the endless associations that everyone can make. Free association is something that can make people realise something within them. and here you understood exactly that the work, and generally most artwork, is somewhat dependent on the eye of the beholder.

Wow, super good! :wow: Seeing this after watching the video adds to the wonder of the finished work, I think.

Personally, I picture myself in the lower right corner, about the same size and location as the insignia, getting ready to climb up the wall. Will they see me, and if so, will they care I'm climbing? :D
